New Delhi: Aluminium prices on Thursday decreased by Rs1.30 to Rs251.80 per kilogram in the futures market as participants trimmed their positions on a weak trend in the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium for delivery in April fell Rs1.30 or 0.51 per cent to Rs251.80 per kg in 3,386 lots.

Zinc futures decline on weak demand

Zinc prices on Thursday fell 0.63 per cent to Rs275.50 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators reduced their exposure, tracking negative cues from the spot market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, zinc contracts for April delivery traded lower by Rs1.75 or 0.63 per cent to Rs275.50 per kg in 2,175 lots.

Copper futures slip on low participation

Copper futures on Thursday slipped 0.41 per cent to Rs906.25 per kilogram as participants reduced their positions amid muted demand in the domestic market. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for April delivery eased by Rs3.75 or 0.41 per cent to Rs906.25 per kilogram in a business turnover of 8,538 lots.
